Rainout & Weather Refund Policy
NTFCA will make every reasonable effort to play all scheduled games. However, weather, field conditions, and player safety may require games to be delayed, shortened, rescheduled, or canceled.
If a tournament is affected by weather and cannot be completed, refunds will be calculated as follows:
0 games played: 94% of the tournament entry fee will be refunded.
1 game played: Refund based on the remaining unplayed games after deducting $99 in fixed tournament costs.
2 games played: Refund based on the remaining unplayed games after deducting $99 in fixed tournament costs.
3 or more games played: No refund will be issued.
For a standard $399 entry fee with five scheduled games, the refundable portion of the entry fee is $300 ($399 entry fee less $99 in fixed costs), or $60 per unplayed game.
Therefore, the refund schedule for a $399 entry fee is:
0 games played — $375.06 refund
1 game played — $240 refund
2 games played — $180 refund
3 or more games played — No refund
NTFCA reserves the right to adjust schedules, game times, game lengths, formats, and field assignments when necessary in an effort to complete as much of the tournament as reasonably possible. A game will be considered played once it has officially started.
All decisions regarding field conditions and tournament continuation will be made with player safety and field playability as the primary considerations.
