Rainout & Weather Refund Policy
NTFCA will make every reasonable effort to play all scheduled games. However, weather, field conditions, and player safety may require games to be delayed, shortened, rescheduled, or canceled.
If a tournament is affected by weather and cannot be completed, refunds will be calculated as follows:
- 0 games played: 94% of the tournament entry fee will be refunded ($469.06).
- 1 game played: $320 refund.
- 2 games played: $240 refund.
- 3 or more games played: No refund will be issued.
For a standard $499 entry fee with five scheduled games, $99 of the entry fee represents fixed tournament costs. The remaining $400 is allocated at $80 per scheduled game for purposes of calculating weather-related refunds.
NTFCA reserves the right to adjust schedules, game times, game lengths, formats, and field assignments when necessary in an effort to complete as much of the tournament as reasonably possible. A game will be considered played once it has officially started.
All decisions regarding field conditions and tournament continuation will be made with player safety and field playability as the primary considerations.
